We are recruiting!

Rosemary Mealy

One of the last (but most welcome!!) additions to the practice, Rosemary joined Beaufield Veterinary Centre in late February 2018. The Kilkenny native, who from a young age has been a very passionate animal lover, Rosemary has dreamed of becoming a veterinary nurse and it was made a reality when she graduated as a veterinary nurse from St. John’s Central College in Cork in November 2017.

An absolute natural with animals she is the very proud owner of/slave to three Jack Russell Terriers, Polly and Pocket and the just recently-acquired Jilly.

She takes a great interest in her patients and takes great satisfaction in helping make them feel as comfortable as possible during their stay at Beaufield Veterinary Centre and she has a particular interest in surgical nursing, radiography and is very much a people person and also enjoys dealing with the public at reception.

In her spare time Rosemary can be found walking her dogs, watching hurling and rugby, shopping, going to the cinema and socialising with friends and family.
