Fascinated by wildlife documentaries from an early age, Patrick soon realised that there was only one David Attenborough. Determined still to work with animals, he resolved to become a veterinary surgeon. He then graduated from UCD Vet College in 2000 and subsequently undertook studies in canine genetics, for which he received a Master’s degree in 2002.
He has worked exclusively in small animal practice since then in the Dublin area, and joined Beaufield in 2008. He has a particular interest in feline medicine and chemotherapy for cancer cases.
Outside of work, he has the misfortune of being a Liverpool supporter, and also enjoys reading, watching movies and listening to music, when not being kept busy by his young family. If you see them cycling along the canal in Maynooth on a Sunday morning, don’t forget to wave!
