Kate is originally from Surrey in England. She studied veterinary at St George's University in Grenada, doing her final year at UCD and graduated in 2018.
Kate particularly likes soft tissue surgery and exotics, gaining her CertAVP qualification in both fields. She also has a Master's in Conservation Medicine and frequently goes abroad to volunteer with endangered wildlife. On her trips, she's been to Borneo, Thailand, India, South Africa, Australia and Costa Rica working with everything from rhinos to orangutans.
Kate is a Fear Free certified vet and is passionate about making vet visits as stress-free as possible for pets during their visits.
Kate is kept busy with her two Macedonian street dogs, Fia and Raina, and two cats, Bonnie and Buddy. In her free time, she likes to do weightlifting and take her dogs on long walks in the countryside.
